A wand of the fundaments pulses and twists in the hand of the wielder. The very fabric of the wand seems to exist as a collection of particles, like sand, while simultaneously rippling and undulating like waves. If one looks hard enough at the wand, they can see that it is made of billions of impossibly small strings that twist and bend constantly, nearly invisible to the naked eye. It is a mystery as to what, exactly, these strings might be made of, and exactly how they hold together in the approximate shape of a wand.

A novice's wand of the fundaments grants the wielder the ability to apply the effects of the Fundament Spell (Feat) to any 1st through 3rd level spell, up to once per encounter, without increasing the spell level of the spell.

The wielder must already possess the Fundament Spell (Feat) to use this wand. Without the feat, the wand is unusable.

This magic item does not require an attunement period, and grants its benefits immediately upon being worn or wielded.
