Battle Madness (Ex)

Requires: Barbarian 1, Urban Mien
Benefit: Once per round as a free action, you can activate Battle Madness to become immune to the following fear effects (Anxious, Startled, Panicked, Nervous, Trembling, Cowering, Shaken, Cringing, and Frightened), and gain a +1 rage bonus to all saving throws from any source until the start of your next turn. You must make an attack against an enemy before the end of your current turn (as a standard action or with a full attack action), or you gain no benefits from Battle Madness. It does not matter if this attack hits or misses, however.

Progression:

  • 11th Level: You are also immune to the following status conditions while Battle Madness is active: Humbled, Slandered, and Disgraced, even if these conditions are applied in such a way that they are not fear-based.
  • 21st Level: You are also immune to the following status conditions while Battle Madness is active: Influenced, Charmed, and Dominated.
  • 31st Level: You gain an additional +1 bonus to all saving throws from any source until the start of your next turn, for a total of +2.
