Description

You hiss savagely between your teeth, holding a vial of acid between you and your intended target. When the hiss cuts off, the vial erupts into a bolt of acidic fury that lances toward your victim as a ray. Make a ranged touch attack. If it misses, there is no further effect.
If it hits, this spell causes a small, rapidly growing patch of corrosive acid to appear on the target at the point where the transformation began. The victim suffers (Circle 5 damage): 1d6+1 points of damage per character level (max 15d6+15 at character level 15) of acid (energy, common) from the initial strike, and gains the Immolated condition, inflicting acid (energy, common) damage.
Synergy: If the Immolated condition is overwritten by another condition, the transformation magic inflicts (Circle 3 damage): 1d6 points of damage per character level (max 10d6 at character level 10) of rot (physical, rare) damage, as the partially consumed flesh of the victim sloughs and dies most horribly.
This spell lays an arcane charge on its target(s). If the targets are something other than you or another creature (such as an object or area), the spell lays an arcane charge on you, the caster. Targets which already have an arcane charge present must choose which to keep if the new spell has the same charge type. Only one arcane charge can ever be present on a target at a time.
