Dead-Eyed Stare (Su)

Requires: Barbarian 1, Superstitious Mien
Benefit: Once per round as a swift action, you can activate Dead-Eyed Stare to cause one of your enemies to become momentarily feverish from its own filthy tampering with the occult. Choose one target that is aware of you, that you can perceive, and that has one or more supernatural, spell, or spell-like abilities. That enemy must make a Fort save vs. a DC of 12 + half your barbarian level + your WIS modifier or it suffers the Unsteady condition until the start of your next turn. This is neither a fear effect, nor a mind-affecting effect.

Progression:

  • 11th Level: When you activate Dead-Eyed Stare, you can attempt to affect up to two enemies you can perceive that have one or more supernatural, spell, or spell-like abilities.
  • 21st Level: Dead-Eyed Stare now inflicts Disoriented on your target(s) until the start of your next turn, if they fail the saving throw. If they make the save, they are Unsteady until the start of your next turn.
  • 31st Level: Dead-Eyed Stare now inflicts Dazed on your target(s) until the start of your next turn, if they fail the saving throw. If they make the save, they are Unsteady until the start of your next turn.
