Dispelling (Melee Weapon Magic Property)

Enchant Cost: +1

A dispelling weapon functions like a Dispel Magic (Sorcerer/Wizard Spell) while it is being actively and proficiently wielded. This effect can be triggered as a standard action by brandishing the weapon toward the creature or item you wish to affect, or, it can be declared as part of a standard action attack. This Dispelling power can be used once per encounter in combat, or once per day out of combat.

The "Caster Check" to dispel with this weapon is the wielder's Bailiwick Skill check, and may be made with any bailiwick skill. Even more powerfully, this bailiwick skill check gains an additional bonus equal to the weapon's enhancement bonus. This bonus also applies to class abilities, feats, combat maneuvers, and any other check made by the wielder to dispel or disrupt spellcasting.

Creation: Creator (Feat), Bailiwick Check (DC 17), a languid remnant (tier 1), and an item symbolic of the enchantment.
