A mighty cleaving weapon allows a wielder using the Cleave feat to make a second additional attack if the bonus attack from Cleave hits, as long as the third foe is adjacent to the second foe and also within reach. This additional attack cannot be against the first foe. Thus, you may attack up to three separate foes one time each, but only if target one is adjacent to target two, who is adjacent to target three, they are all within your reach, and only if you strike each previous foe successfully.
