  • The Everburning Credo
  • This is my Creed, and I heed it.
  • I heed the signs that I must act.
  • I heed the warning tingle on the back of my neck.
  • I heed the outrage, that what I see must end, and now.
  • I heed the clarity as righteousness seizes me.
  • I heed my hot breath, like fire, and my heart full of thunder.
  • I heed the edge to my senses.
  • I heed the exultant battlecry from my own lips.
  • I heed my singular vision, that I see only the deserving.
  • I heed the strength in my hands, for it is not my strength, only Gods.
  • My Creed will triumph as long as God Wills It, and I have strength.
  • My Creed sustains me, a torch against my foes.
  • My Creed grants the Armor Of Contempt, against all offenders.
  • Ever I burn, a torch of God's Will, my pain feeding my light.
  • Everburn, say I. Everburn.
  • This is my Creed, and I heed it.

Paladin Example Build

First, this 'Host-Bringer' paladin build makes me happy.

I think a summoner build pally is a great idea, but I'm worried it's going to be really hard to model. That may not matter, but just a thought.

Second, I see we have feat support for Channels and Cleanse, but nothing for Lay-On-Hands? Is this an oversight, or working as intended?

it's mostly an oversight. I could see feats that do the following:

  • add more healing (duh)
  • let them slide the ally they just healed a number of squares equal to the dice rolled (they are kind of controllery after all)
  • something that makes it more like castigate -- i.e. when you hit an enemy in your aura, you can heal an ally in your aura as part of the same action, but you still have to expend a use of LoH
  • different action economy -- allowed to use as attack action, swift action, or immediate action (instead of just a swift)
Beatitude - Add Cha Stat to lay on hands
Sanctity - Add +1 Divine bonus to AC and all saves until end of target's next round
Consecration - Expend one Lay on Hands use, create a stationary space in which Aura of Gallantry persists until the end of your next full night's rest. (allows pally to consecrate a house, for example, while they go do other stuff)

there's already Consecrate_(Spell) that we removed to put into the settlement stuff. I could see it being a thing they could do to a campsite to prevent random encounters (a poor man's magnificent mansion).
